Hey guys, I'm usually in the 5.0 forums, but it I can't seem to get an answer over there.

I'm currently working on a 5-lug conversion for my car and was thinking a set of wheels and tires from a 2005 Mustang GT would be a good looking, cheap option for me since a lot of people take them off.

I know the bolt circle is the same. But what is the major difference in offset between the new wheels and the older Bullitt style wheels for the last of the SN95 Mustangs?

Any help would be great guys, thanks a lot in advance!

the offset of the old stangs was 24mm. the new stangs are 45mm. the 05+ wheels will be tucked into the wheelwells more on your car. the pre 05 wheels stick out on 05+ stangs.

Lincoln Mark 7 axles are longer and will put the rims out a little further. Not sure by how much exactly tho.

Thanks, I already axles out of a 94 V6 car though. I was thinking of using wheel spacers to make up the difference.

I've heard bad things about spacers being used with 4-lug cars, any horror tales with the 5-lug cars?
