Wheel sizes??

I've got a 98 and i'm looking to pick up some 17" GT wheels off of a 97 mustang. My current wheels are just the stock 15" alloys and i was wondering if the 17's would cause any problems?

Thanks

As long as the outermost diameter of the tires are very similar between the 15's and 17's (which they are with stock tire sizes), you'll be fine... other than you're car being a little slower. :)

Essentially, the wheel size doesn't matter as long as the outside tire diameter remains the same... or at least really close.

Post up if you have any more questions.

I believe for 17x8, use 245/45R-17 tires and for 17x9 275/40R-17. Those all keep the total circumference close to the same to keep the speedometer dead on. Only downside to bigger rims is about 68 pounds extra added to the car.
