Should I go for it and if so then how wide? I really cant afford rims/tires; thats what lead me to the spacers. I appriciate all your advice.

Integral studs & hub-centric mounts make them probably the safest of the spacers out there. I wouldn't space the fronts...too easy to muck up the steering geometry.
