Whats up. So i dont like the look of my rear wheels tucked in so far in the back. (96 GT). I have heard many stories about wheel spacers, some say they are good and do not cause any harm others say it is really bad for your back end. Any opinions on this , also any ideas on how thick i should get the spacer I was think about 1'' to 1.5''

Mine are 1" (25mm) H&R. I've had them on for two years with no problems. They look great.

H&Rs are very high quality. You can order some from www.maximummotorsports.com

I just went outside and took two pictures for you from the rear of my car (in the garage at night).

I run wheel spacers on my race car and I doubt you put your 'stang through that kind of torture. No issues with them.

I had the 1.25" with my 8" wide stock wheels. They filled up the wheel-well perfectly, and never had a problem!! They are actually currently for sale, though I don't know what brand they are, since they were on the car when I bought it.

Those are the only ones i would get.

I would even go the extra step and upgrade the wheel studs on yur axle to hardened studs for extra security.
