Wheel Spacers?

Anyone know where or who makes 2-3 inch wheel spacers? We bought a set of wheels (17x9 and 17x11) for our 65' F100 street rod and with the explorer rear being so narrow we need atleast a 2" wheel spacer to space the wheel out to be flush with the wheel well.

We are looking for the spacers that bolt on like another hub, and then the wheel is bolted to that. I only need two for the rear. The fronts sit PURRRFECT! Any info is greatly appreciated!

Looks like that will do what you need, i'd be a little scared of them though.

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of wheel spacers, but for this problem, there is no other option. We would need a 17x13 inch wheel and a steam roller tires to fix the problem, or get the rear widened. These trucks are very wide and disc conversion rear in the right width is almost impossible to find. And since we bought wheels already that have a 24mm offset for a steal... (17x9 with new 275/40 NT555's and 17x11 with new 315/35 NT 555 DR's for $800 in perfect condition).

These will do the trick. Thanks!

Make sure you upgrade the studs.

Even with hardened wheel studs, I just can't see 2-3" spacers being remotely safe. I'd really look for wheels with a better offset, or get the rearend properly widened and install longer axles.

If it was a granny driven show piece, with long, hardened studs....it would be OK, I suppose. If the car is driven with any kind of "passion", I would just opt for different rims.

We aren't too worried about it. My dad is almost 60yrs old and drives like a granny anyways. The truck is going to be basically driven on nice days and to shows, and thats it. The spacers we bought are billet aluminum and we plan to upgrade the studs also. The tire and wheel style fit the truck perfect, and for the deal we got on discontinued wheels with tires...the deal couldn't be passed up.

if you look at these spacers they bolt up like a regular wheel and then studs are in the 2" billet part so t looks safe to me but I am no expert.

Wouldn't a rearend from an F series or fullsize SUV be a better fit? There must be something out there with disc brakes that's closer to the width you need...

Sounds like a cool project though, any pics of the truck?

I ordered the spacers and they should be here real soon. Once we get those on, and we can roll the truck around...FINALLY...it will be rolled out of the garage so I can take some pics and FINALLY sweep the floor! haha.
