guys, im getting confused as my parts are comming in. some of the things were wrong and im ordering between 2 different companies.

im rebuilding the rear on my gt. 8.8 rear of coures. i ordered t lok unit, axles, bearings, seals, gears, wheel studs.

anyway i got moser axles and moser studs. i was wondering how long the studs are supposed to be, they look short. they are the push in kind and package says ford, but i dont seee anything else that would tell me if they are the right ones.

guys with moser studs what did they look like???????? and do you really have to bang those push in type in, because they dont look like they fit unless maybe you slam them in with a hammer?

i ordered from summit, i already have to send back the chevy bearings they sent me please help me out.

im not familiar with those axles but if there pull threw stud like you think they are. you need to find yourself a spacer of somekind eigther being a stack of washers or nut bigger then the stud to slide over the new stud and using a spare nut that fits the stud. use a air gun to tighten the nut and it should pull the stud through. as for how long the studs should be for the new axels i have no idea but i dont see why they would be that much different then stock, but I may be wrong. and also hopeing that they gave you the correct studs for the job.
sorry i couldn't be more of a help.

thanks man, i hope they are the right studs. anyway i found out there is atool for pulling the studs through, so im not worried about that.

however im still unsure about the 2 in. studs. i know some guys get 3in wheel studs.....

no one knows about the moser axle wheel studs? 2 in.?

does anyone know the stock wheel stud size?
