I am new to the site and have been reading it for awhile. Thought some help with wheels could be a good place.

Saw these at pro-touring, anyone have bonspeed wheels, looks cool billet 2 pc so I can get good offsets.

Any response and recommended sizes would be great for a 67.

Sharp looking rims but you don't state the width or ht. at least to suggest a backspace.

I can only give my experience with my '67, with 15X7 wheels with 3.75" bs and 225/60/15 tires the tire bulge rubbed the fender lip, rolled the lip and the tires clear. If I would have found 4-4.25" bs on a 7" rim the tires would have cleared with no rolling of the lip.

What size is the rim, what size tire do you plan, what are the bs options?

I'm not big on most of the newer style wheels, but those look pretty nice. I have never seen them before, but I bet they would look good on your car.

Jon:
Thanks for the response. I am thinking about a 17" or 18" because I am upgrading to tubular a-arms and bigger sway bars. They are a 2-piece wheel so the backspace can be made to what I need. Maybe 7" or 8" in front and 9" or 10" in the back. Looking for what other guys may have had luck with?

from my understanding you can fit 10" rim in the rear of a 67-68 car.

I vote for 17s. Anything bigger just doesn't look right.

Have you seen a picture of a classic Stang with these wheels? If so, do you have a link? I'd like to see it.

Very cool looking wheel. It looks similar to the wheel I'm running but more like the original syle steel wheels that came on our cars. I like it! I'm running 18x7's w/235's and 18x10's w/295's and I've been happy with it. No rubbing issues as all but I did have to roll all fenders and my rear is narrowed 3/4" on each end to give me a little more lip in the rear. It was what I was looking for but some Mustang guys may not care for it. That's the great thing about modding, you build it and do what you want. It's your car so have fun with it.
