I would like to know from any one that may help.....
I have heard of some guys putting on mustangs 87-93
255/45/17 out frt
275/45/17 in the rear
WHAT I WANA KNOW is...... what backspacing are on these rims???
Frt and Rear... if they are diffrent.... OR are they the same?
And is that the Biggest I can get away with with out major modifications?

i have 1999 SVT wheels on my '86 hatch. i have 2000 GT brakes and spindles up front while i have an 8.8 from the same 2000 GT out back. i have 255 comp t/a's up front and 275 nitto dr's out back. the 2000 8.8 is wider so it pushes the tires out almost to the edge of the fender, filling it up nicely. sorry i couldn't be more help. hope someone on here can assist you.

thanks,, for sharing your info... I have already done a 5 lug conversion ... Long time ago...actually....I prolly was one a the first Foxbody owners that did it so quickly... I bought my mustang NEW... in 1988....
I'm really needing the Correct backspacing on the wheels that others are using on there Fox body...... My interest are with the 17inch wheels..
I'm actually going to Buy some BULLETTS... 17x9
