Alright,

So now that the whole exhaust is almost ready to go on I figured that aside from gears I've GOT to get rid of my tribars with my horrible comp T/A tires - I'm gonna use them for winter.

I've been searching around for tight designs, etc. etc. but almost everything I like looks like a knockoff, variation, or more expensive version of either the cobra r's or the saleen wheels. While I wanna do something different I think I'm gonna end up getting either one of those - I want to do 18X9 in the front and 18X10 in the back - where's the best place (other than ebay) to pick these up real cheap? Also what's a good tire size to switch over to and should I pick up wheel spacers? I find plenty of places selling them but I can't seem to find any 18X10 saleen wheels OR any 18X10 cobra r's in just silver.

94Turbo - do you still have your silver cobra r's - what size were they? I really liked the look on the vert with them. Don't think I'm going with chrome, probably just siver.

Also if any of you guys can hit me up with some pics of yours that's be money, thanks fellas.

Andrew

Go on Ebay and search for "OE Wheels" they are a company operating out of Sarasota florida and they have tons of good deals.

Here is a link to their store. http://stores.ebay.com/o-e-wheels_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQdptZ0QQftidZ2QQpZ6QQtZkm

I want the roush 18x9" 's. Sucks that they are $1200 shipped. I'll probably buy them anyways. Cobra R's are $750 so I guess they aren't too much more for top of the line. Plus they are real and not knock-off's.

This is the wheel I'm loving right now, only problem is since I'm such a ROOKIE I don't know if it's gonna fit up with the bolt pattern and what not:

http://www.thewheelexchange.com/products/wheels/brand/mb_italia/mb11_hyper.html

What size tires do you guys recommend with 18X9's - Honestly I always had my thought on Pirelli's (Pzeros or Neros) but they're so expensive and I really don't think they're better than everything else - what are you guys running? Also - should I pick up wheel spacers?

Thanks all.

Striped those wheels are money btw. I'd get them but I like how these MB's have a solid center on the spokes yet still look like they're cut in the middle.

I like two of those models - but $2495 per set? No way I'm gonna throw down for that - good quality though.

Anyone got the answer to my question above? Thanks.

We should make a thread just on tires and rims...
that one posted above is nice, but i think we can get more.

there was a set of rims i thought i had saved on my pc, they look friggin sick, if i didnt get my saleen reps, those probably would have been it for me.
