Man, the dealers in my city are retards. I am going to purchase an 05 GT and I called a few weeks ago and they said "they will be in the last week of September". Went to the lot and no new Stangs. Now they took my phone number and are saying not until "the end of October". Everybody on this website knows more about these cars than they do. So much for the dealers, I am going to stick with this website. I saw a sweet 03 Jack Roush Classic for 34 grand though.

Dealers know about 10 times less than the average guy searching the net. They want to sell the car, get the deposit, and make you wait. They dont have an inside track. The instant any real date comes out it will be on the net and regardless of what people think, dealers, with very rare exceptions, are not car guys or in the know. Most dont take the time to really find out any info or push for it. Hell my salesman said "hows 320 horsepower feel" when I test drove my 03 cobra before buying it. He didnt even realize that the car was 390 . They tell people what they need to to sell a car.

Ford has to get it right first and repair the cylinder head defects on all the 2005 Mustang GT's. You will not see any of these vehicles until the cylinder head problem is resolved. They say that everything will be fixed by January 2005. Ford will get it right someday (yeah right!).

For what its worth

this is my first post so you can believe it or not i really dont care. I was talking to a fairly high ranking ford employee that is working with the mustang and he said there target day for ship is october 13th. The only thing i know for sure is that any dealer that is giving you a date is making it up because all 05 mustangs are still listed as TBA on the ford systems.
