here is a guy on mustangworld selling the parts youd need.

also yes most shops charge i think about $300 or so for the chip then the dyno time which runs about $125 an hour. Or a few even reflash your computer

you'll want to contact your tuner......
I'm sure that if you let them know in advance what you have, what you want and what you're willing to pay, they could probably get the best setup for you.

When my car got tuned, the tuner supplied the chip

Yeah I think it really depends on what shop you use as to what they do and don't do.

I just got my Vortech on the road, , and I ran it with everything (42s, 80mm LMAF, etc.) installed except the chip and it ran better than expected, but when I put the chip in it was a whole new car. I could not believe the chip could have made that much of a difference, but even with the blower the car idles and revs 10x smoother than when I was n/a. This is just my little VMP plug, but I gotta say that so far, I would not recommend ANY chip over my SCT chip I got through Justin @ www.velocitymustangperformance.com Please do yourself a favor and at least contact him about a chip. I got my chip, inj, LMAF and pump from him all at once. Chip was in my hands in almost half the time he said it would take. There is no need for immediate dyno-tuning with this chip either. I do have an appointment for tomorrow to get a baseline with the blower and I'll be able to see how the a/f ratio looks with the chip. So far, she's been pulled up to 4,500 without a hint of detonation. I'm sure I could use a reburn for optimal performance, but right now I'm confident that the chip as is would keep the car running just fine for a long time.

Thats just me, though...

I paid ~$3,500 total to get on the road & running right. Missed my dyno appt today, though. Seems I caught one of those nasty lil head cold things. How do you like the ATI??

It was alot of fun to install, one of my best freinds and i did it together. It took 10 hours total. The first four hours i did it by myself with a nastly little hangover. Later on he finaly ditached himself from his gf and came over and helped. Right now im looking for the best prices for everything else i need, i cant wait to get this thing on the road and see what its like.
