5.0 & superfords article summary:

Single stage intake for stock displacment 5.0

it is upper and lower it will be available in long and short runners available hopefully in June
the idea is to have the long runner for between a Performer and Performer(original) and the short a little harder than the RPM II
breathes through stock location throttle body BBK will include billet fuel rails original will not fit throttle body will bolt directly to plenum still fits under stock hood sorry i tried to find a pic, get the magazine page 36. cover has cobra on front say something about 700hp build up. this things looks good. oh retails for 579.00 that includes the rails, i would like to see some numbers on it. i have been happy with all my BBK stuff so far. maybe that helps

the article does not say anything about emissions except that it does metion that the EGR tucks under the intake for a clean look. so i assume with provisions for the EGR and being a direct replacement stock bottom end 5.0 that there should be no problems with legallity. any one else got any questions i will be glad to let you know what that it says in here, article was rather brief

what i heard was the price would be VERY good, and create a pricing intake war. im wondering how it compares with HP and TRQ with other intakes on the market right now, i was thinking of the Edelbrock Performer intake, Cobra Intake, Trickflow Trach Heat, or possibly the BBK. I want a H/C/I combo that will make very good power... by the end of the summer ill have the heads, im not sure what heads to get,, probably a set of AFR's... lots of stuff to think over

sure it would be more around the mid 400.00 if the rails were not included, a good set of rails are not exactly cheap, at least with that deal you know that you get a nice clean fitment. assuming that the intake is worth having that is.

the design is bitchin, at least to me, it is supposed to come out this july or at the latest end of summer. I talked to BBK directly, and they said that they are thinking about addiing ports for N20 dirrectly I dunno if that is or not, but it seems worth it for the price. I love all my BBK products, especially their LT's

I am interested also, I have never seen it, but it sounds like a good deal.

I still plan on getting a Trick Flow, or Edelbrock, but this new one might be a consideration too.

As long as it is made here.

That's a big plus for me also. I would love to be able to check the rr with only half the work!

When I first saw it I thought it was amazing but I didn't even think about that you could take off the valve overs without taking off the intake that's sweeeeet!!!!
