When to tune?

Hey all,

At what point in the modification chain does it become necessary to get the car tuned. I have an 04 GT with a K&N filter and cat back exhaust. I have not had it tuned and do not plan any more mods at the moment. How necessary is it for me to have the car tuned? I know that there will always be a gain, but is it NEEDED with just minor bolt ons? Thanks.

Thats a negative. With just your minor bolt ons you do not need a tune. Save your money man.

Only when you do something big like full exhaust with LT headers, cams or a blower. Even a stock car though would benefit from a custom dyno tune.

I know that there would be a benefit, but I am looking at things that are needed at this point. Thanks for the reply.
