I get a funny smell. It seems like if I drive the car even semi hard (not even going over 4k) it has a funny smell almost like heated rubber and a wierd burning smell. Could it just be that the car is now finally "breaking in"? The person that owned it before never did anything considered getting on it. Do I just need to break it in or something?

This is weird, I never had this in my car, but in my moms lincoln LS, even after 30k miles it still has that rubber burning smell,no one can figure it out. sometimes smoke enters the cabin thru the vents at a red light.

I'm guessing I'll just check under the hood next time to see/smell where it comes from. I'm thinking it's just the radiator hoses because they're still REALLY REALLY new looking. My Cougar never did this but never know. I'll give it time.
