David (5 spd GT) knows what alum reservoir he is goin to get (and it accepts a low level sensor). I just cant remember the link to the place (if all else fails, perhaps a PM to him would work).

Hmm RC, we need to talk to Dave - I dont think his fan shroud fasteners are polished. :D

Ack! You're right :rlaugh:

That thing shoulda been off by now, actually, but the electric fan I had didn't fit. Got a new one to put in now but I've become lazy since I finished the brake swap.

You referring to Dave "mansonozz"?

We talked... the one he has is a tube that does NOT accept the sensor.

Anyone else

One way to get yourself a nice clean master cylinder reservoir is to shoot it down with Greased Lightning and scrub it good. That stuff really knocks the crud off.

The color of the plastic is still not white, and will not look nearly as clean as a new, white one will.

My stock one was 100% clean, but the color of the plastic used to make it made it 'seem' dirty just on its own.

You're talking a clean dark color vs. a clean light color - guess which one will look brighter.

RC - The David he's talking about, in regards to the low level sensor, must have "5spd gt" in his screen name, cuz as you know, mine is an AOD :)

There is a company that makes an aluminum overflow bottle that fits in the stock location for $149. I was going to get one but they have a tube installed on the outside so you can see the coolant level. This tube will not allow the bottle to fit between my radiator and the blower belt.

That be the Dave (Bling bling Bilstein Mansonozz Dave). :)

The one that David (5 SpdGT) is going to get does have a provision for the low level sensor. I just cant remember where he is going to get his from (why I thought a PM to him might help). He had sent me a link In a PM but I get so many PM's I had to delete the message some time ago. :bang:

Good luck RC.
