Where did you mount your NHRA legal battery disconnect switch?

I have a Moroso battery box, cable, lugs and Flaming River Big Switch. I was thinking of mounting the switch behind the license plate. Then using some aluminum stand offs to mount the tag so it clears the switch. Of course I'll have to remove the tag at the track. Any pictures of how you did yours would be helpful.

i bought a flaming river pull switch and drilled a hole next to the license plate and had it come out there....it looks killer. Other people hardely notice it

There was a thread a while ago, but I couldnt find it. Here is one way to do it. All tread with wingnuts works great to quickly take the plate off at the track.

Forgot to mention to scroll down to grover dill.

To be track legal, it must kill the motor. That means that you must shut down the alt as well.

I'm thinking either the way you mentioned or like groverdill has his. Undecided right now.
