Hi everyone so my 1999 Ford Mustang with the V6 automatic the other day she decided her rear main seal should go away so it leaked all the oil out and the engine started knocking. So i pulled the old engine and trans out and when i separated the engine from the transmission i noticed the torque convertor was blue and that i could not get off the block plate.

So my question for everyone is where do i buy a new torque convertor and block plate??? The block plate is the thin piece of metal between the trans and the engine it holds the starter on so that it is properly aligned with the flexplate.

Torque Converter can be had at Auto Parts Stores and a multitude of places online. The plate you can get in a junkyard.
