where do i get this part????plz help

i need the little circle plastic piece that that shifter ball goes into in the tranny my shifter is all loose because that piece broke! plz help me!

The parts department of your local ford dealer can probably help you. I've searched a few sites that normally have odd parts like that and neither have the part your looking for.

I agree. I got the last one in town for 3.50. The resto sites can get it for you (I seem to recall LRS, for one, having it).

Worst case, give Randy at Liberty Ford a jingle and he should be able to help you out.

yes that is is thank you for finding it for me i just got a short shifter and right after installation that piece broke and the shifter fell out and i had to drive for like 15 miles in 2nd gear to get home it sucked! again thank you

I had to order one before Was obnoxious to find the first time, but then it sort of stuck in my memory.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who cant find anything on some of the restoration sites. I've actually started threads before asking for help to find a part #.

I find that the paper catalogs for many of the resto places come in handy for references, pics, and part numbers. LRS, Year One, CJPonyParts and others send them out free of charge.
