I recently made the AOD-T5 swap and tore apart lots of the interior and steering column area and there is one connector left I can't find where it goes. I suspect it is part of the ignition circuit and furthermore I think one of the wires is the field signal to the alternator (red and green stripe). The reason I suspect it is that is my alternator is not charging the system when the car is on, I verified the issue is the regulator and the circuit diagram shows a 12v wire coming from the ignition and going through a dash light and 500ohm resistor.

Anyway, I looked around for a half hour under the car and can't find where this thing plugs into. I remember unplugging it from somewhere which is the funny part.

Are the pins round or squarish?

The pins are round, there are 3. The car is a 1991 LX.

Do you have that electronic box thing at the top, center of the dash?
Mine did, and they had round connectors going into it.

The connector itself is more of a flattened ellipse but the pins themselves are round. Do you mean the at the top of the actual dashboard or at the top of the steering column? Based on the length of the cable it looks like its supposed to plug into the circuitry closer to the steering wheel on the column.

Okay, I just remembered something else.
Check the connectors for your heat/air control. I'm pretty sure those pins are round too.

What color are those wires? They wouldn't happen to be P/O , R/LG, & BK?

It plugs into the shift lock actuator on the steering column. It keeps you from putting the car into gear without stepping on the brake. Doesn't serve a purpose with a T-5.

All three wires are for that? Even the red/green stripe? I was really hoping that one was the 12v ign source for the alternator regulator.

ALso, where exactly is the shift lock actuator on the steering column? How far back from the steering wheel, what angular position (i.e. 12 o'clock)?

All three wires go the the shift lock. The R/LG is connected to the Brake On/Off switch to deactivate the lock when you step on the brake pedal.

The Shift Lock should be around/above the ignition switch area.
