Where/How can I get better traction?

I've been racing alot of AWD cars lately and can't seem to keep up due to the fact that I have ****ty 60' times and spin when I launch. Do you guys have any advice or product suggestions to help me get better traction so I can launch at a higher RPM without spinning and get a jump on them off the line? I'd love to spray off the line, but every time I do I seem to just smoke my tires off and it's pointless. :nonono:

Thanks guys!

Strange 10way adjustable struts/shocks work.

Keep the fronts on the softest setting to let the front end lift and transfer the weight to the rear tires.

Keep the rears hard to plant the tires.
YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR CAR TO SQUAT!!! You lose power when the car squats.

Drag radials are okay. I run 275/40R17 BFG DRs.
I don't recommend them though. Only because the wheel is too tall and thus sidewall thickness too thin.
I would suggest a 15" wheel with a BFG DR or MickeyThompson DR.
You don't see any of the NMRA or WFC drag race Mustangs in 5.0MM&FF mag with 17"wheels do you?

Nope but you don't see stock rear ends under their cars either. :D I went with 17" ET Streets... I want the smaller sidewall to keep it from ripping the rear end apart. :rlaugh:

I just installed Granatelli adjustable LCA's, adjustable UCA's(unknown brand), Edelbrock SFC's, and 315/35 MT ET Street DR's. I already had Sportlines and AGX shocks/struts, plus a QA1 tubular k member. I haven't tried launching hard yet, but when I punch it from a very slow roll it instantly hooks and takes off with little or no tire spin.

I understand about using larger DR's like 16 and 17 inch cause they fit your street wheels and all that.

BUT

Unlike a 15 inch setup

They are too heavy for the best ET
and
The side wall is too short for the best traction
