Not sure about the sensor or if they are even in the same place on your car and my 00 GT but i just replaced the purge valve and its in the inner fender well on the passenger side, you have to remove the wheel and the black plastic inner cover to access it. Its to the left of the strut tower way up on top. Not to bad to change.
The sensor is a the small plastic valve on a vacuum hose directly behind the TB against the firewall
The valve is a metalic cylinder with a connector on one end and a T for two vacuum lines on the other. It's between the passanger side strut tower and the A/C canister. Make sure you put the vacume lines on the right as flow direction does matter.
