Ok, I'll try to make this short. my mods are in my sig & the car has a 94 Cobra computer in it. The car was dyno tuned/chipped with a C&L meter in it.
I just got my 80mm Pro-M meter back from getting it calibrated, & the guy at Pro-M told me that I might have to get it re-chipped because my chip was made to work with the C&L & that with the Pro-M the fuel tables,A/F ect.. would probably be off. He told me to try removing the old chip & run it on the stock computer. He said I would probably be surprised at how good it would run without a chip.I think it's worth a try. I know this is a stupid question but ,
Can someone tell me where to find the chip in my computer so I can know exactly what I am looking for before I tear into it? I have never messed with chips so I don't really know what to look for.
any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Joe

OK, Thanks.. I know where the computer is as that is how I knew that it was a 94 Cobra.sorry, I should have put that in my post. is the chip actually in the computer or maybe between the the plug/computer or something like that? Thanks

The chip should be plugged into the side of the factory ECM. On the opposite side of the harness plug in. If there's no chip there should be a black rubber cover over it
