Where is the turn signal blinker unit??

Hey everyone,

My turn signals don't work on my '89 notch. The hazards work, though. I looked up the location for the turn signal blinker unit in my Chilton's manual, and it says its under the dash panel reinforcement. Do you know how to get to it? Do I have to tear apart the dash? Also, other posts on this forum say its behind the glove box. Where is it and how do I get to it?

It's been known to be in various places. Check behind the radio, up behind the glove box(nearest centre of dash) or maybe near the fuse box. Good luck.

On my 88's in hang down behind the fues panel, behind the dash its just pushed up in the wireing harness.
