Well I've gotten the car a long way since I bought it stock four years ago. I've finally got the power stuff down, now i need some help deciding where to go now. Here are my options.

1) Lowering springs and shocks

2) Upper and lower control arms

3) Body mods... S281 Wing, Cobra R Hood, Saleen body kit

4) New brakes... 13" Cobra's, Baer,

5) 31 Spline axels and spool

I can only do one thing at a time, especially since i just spent a huge load on the blower and motor at the same time. I drag race lots but she is still my daily driver. Any thoughts?

You're the first one I've heard say the heat extractor. I really like that hood, I just didn't know if it would fit with the blower. I guess the Cobra's work. I can get a sweet deal on one too. They mis-shipped one to the company I buy most of my parts through. They ordered a 99-04 and were sent the 96-98 by accident. If I upgrade to the KB 2.2 I'm screwed though.

well keeping in mind you both drag race and you DD the car, make it reliable first. I would go in this order

5)axles
4)brakes
2)control arms
1)springs
3)body mods

only reason i do body mods after springs is i dont think they would look good on a 4x4

I am about right where you are also and this is the route i am taking to finish out my car.

I would not do any cosmetic mods so that leaves out the body stuff and the brakes.

If I were you I would do suspension but I do not think you need UCAs.

I suggest MM LCAs and some other MM stuff.

Can you be more specific about your budget?

Budget is somewhat unlimited, just time constrained if that makes sense. When I buy, I try to buy the best the first time. The down time of the car is the issue. I'm trying to do smaller projects. I have very little spare time. That is my biggest problem.

Well then I would suggest upgrading suspension components one at a time starting with MM LCAs.

i'd go with #5 but get a limited slip intead of the spool. Then get the saleen extreme heat extractor hood. I think you should be fine in clearance with the 1.7,even with the 2.2 i think you would be fine. Isnt the whipple on the S281E like a 2.2 or 2.3 if i remember right??

I would definatly do #5 before doing any othe suspension upgrades. If you go launching that car in the boost and it dead hooks,... bye bye axles.
