Where should I set my FP and timing at?

Pretty much done with my HCI swap and ready to start her up tomorrow. Just have to install the Radiator, Electric fan and the Electrical fuel gauge. Just wondering where I should set my Fuel Pressure and timing at?

If it helps the Engine mods are below:
AFR 165 heads with 1.6 7/16 stud mount Rockers, Ed Curtus custom street beast cam (566ish lift and 224 duration, Edelbrock 5.0 intake, lower ported to match AFR's, 1" spacer, FRPP Red top 30lb injectors, Kirban FPR, MAC CAI, Pro M 75MM MAF, BBK 75MM EGR and TB, MSD 6AL2 (will install once I figure out where I want to mount it - inside most likely, but requires extending wires, MSD coil, MAC LT Headers, Prochamber and 40 series Flowmasters

Thanks

I think a good start point would be about 42psi with vaccume line off on the fuel. Then about 10 or 12 degrees base advance until broke in.Then pull it up for desired setting.Would love to hear how it turns out.

Agree about the timing but 30lb injectors are rather big for that H/C/I combo. I'd suggest using the stock 39psi with vacuum off the regulator and have the whole combo properly tuned on the dyno with either a programmeable tuner or a custom chip to get the best results.
It's a well thought-out combo and with a good tune it should rip on the dyno.

I know a lot of ppl think 30# injectors are over kill, but there is a lot of people running them with no issues. I just figured it's better to have bigger injectors that are not running close to the max independence. Plus it helps if I had nitrous later on or what have you.

Nitrous?Maybe if you only ran a dry kit but why would you wanna do that.

No plans to do it, just saying. Most likely I will go with a SC and have to bump up to 40#'s in a yr or two any how. Depends where I'm at. My job like every one else's is not guaranteed. Obami cut to much Military funding and I have one pay left till I got to go out in the civi World. :) Any time I can pass on Bami-bash I will.

Thanks for your response and thanks 88-378 for making that comment. Most people really feel 30#'s are over kill.

those injectors are fine. You really only want to run an injector at about 85% capacity.

Those 30lb'ers will be running at a lot less than that, which is fine. It's better to err on being slightly too big than too small. I don't know if the engine computer will be able to reduce the duty cycle far enough to prevent a rich condition, and that's why I suggested a tune to make sure.
