Where the hell can I find water pump/timing cover bolts and studs?

I tried calling winsdor-fox a bunch of times this past week but they don't answer. Where the hell can I order a set of these bolts and studs? Arp doesn't make a kit for efi 5.0's. 50resto doesn't have them either.

you can get them at www.windsorfox.com but be prepared to take it up the ass for pricing, shipping and poor communication - but they have 'em!

EDIT: oops - didn't see you had tried them already - one other thought is trying Ford?

The 'help' section at your local autoparts store might carry them... especially the studs. Our local Partsource does.

I'm pretty "out of options" when it comes to finding those studs. I think it would be better to go to a local parts store to pick them up???? If you find them let me know...

parts store more than likely won't have them. it is kinda a dealer option only, which it is prob an obsolete part by now. one might try www.totallystainless.net they might have it. otherwise you are stuck with using your old ones, or finding them at the junk yard. also try ebay, sometime when folks sell their water pumps, they include the studs.

I remember a while ago there was a thread about this same topic. I think some guy said he got them on eBay through some people who sell bolt kits. Might want to try "bolt kits" on EBay? Good Luck

I called totally stainless and they don't have the studs.

I just got back from the Ford dealer and the good news is they have all the studs. The bad news is they want over $50 fu cking dollars for them. I'm gonna try other local dealers and use that as a last resort. I tried 2 parts stores in the help section and no luck.

I just realized that since I don't have a/c I don't need all 4 studs. I only use 2 of them. I'm thinking i'm gonna buy the 2 studs I need @ Ford and then go to Lowes and match up the bolts with the best kind they have (grade 8?)

don't need grade 8 on it unless you want it on there. grade 5 is still overkill i think.

I've been toying around with the idea of picking up the ARP set for about ~$35, then just reusing the studs I need. A/C is off my car as well.

Another option I was toying with was switching over to the March PS and alternator brackets. It's pricey @ $200 for the pair, but it looks like you don't need the studs at all.

I just got back from Lowes. I picked up what I needed for the bolts. Their 5/16-18 size if anyone was wondering. I got all grade 8 and they were under $2 for each bolt. Tomorrow i'll pick up the 2 studs I need from Ford and I should be good to go. I will be putting thread sealent on all of the threads and on the bolt itself to prevent any rust/corrosion. Some of the bolts are the exact length so if needed i'll have to use washers to space it.

I found out some new info. If you guys have an autozone near you, look up part # 23744 its a ford water pump stud kit for $7.99. Other places might sell it too. Its a special order item, but $7.99 vs over $50

I think im gonna order 2 sets tomorrow from autozone. I need to pick up a new water pump too while i'm there.

I broke one of the studs off trying to remove the water pump a few years back.Damm Ford dealer charged $13.00cdn for a new one,(didn`t have time to look around).

Tip-use anti-seize on the waterpump studs/bolts when installing to avoid the problem of the studs/bolts seizeing up and breaking off.

thanks! i need a set for a 92 engine i'm using. i have them all on another but don't want to rob the complete engine
