Along with the body work to paint the car, I've been restoring the inner fender area while I have the fenders off. I've scraped, chisled, and chipped away all undercoating and seam sealer, sanded the panels, and applied POR-15. Now I'm ready to apply new seam sealer, and I don't remember exactly where it all goes. If memory serves, it was applied mostly to areas with where panels joining at 90° angles, especially around the fender-door hinge area that forms the outside of the cowl. Its kind of a convoluted, much ignored part of the car, and I don't know any terms for these areas.

While we're at it, what is the purpose of seam sealer? Everything appears to be welded tight, so I'm not too sure what it is sealing, exactly.

Its supposed to go over the spot welded seams. at least thats where I put it. is the interior seam sealer the same as exterior?

oh, and apply it in a well ventalated area. It will make you puke if you dont :D
