I had more problems getting the pitman arm off since I was replaceing the whole powersteering box. Putting it back on I just got everything lined up, and tightened down the nut. it popped right on.

I have to install my headers before I reinstall the POwer steering pump, hoses and bleed the system. There is one header bolt that is right behind the power steering pump that is almost impossible to get to with the pump in place.

I'll hit it again today - I'll have to triple check that I have the splines lined up - I'm 99.9% sure they are. The new gear is painted so that may be why my pitman arm is being a bit tough to put on.

My header is in the way just enough so that I can't get a socket and breaker bar on it so I'm having to use a wrench.

I'll post up some pictures this afternoon when I get to mess with it again.

My '95 is the same way with the A/C compressor - I had to cut down a wrench to get that last bolt in. The headers were worth it though!
