For right now I'm looking just for a new shifter knob because my stock one is getting worn out but i've checked out AmericanMuscle.com and honestly don't see any that i like a whole lot.
Any good places you guys have found?
Anyone here selling?
Also does the 05 and up knobs fit on the 99 - 04 mustangs?

LRS gave this one to me for free a couple years ago,and after driving alot on a warm day it gets Very Warm..and sometimes too hot to rest your hand on.Think I might get me one of those Hurst knobs...kinda liking those.

They have some but not alot:

Not sure what type your needing, since Im not familiar with the type your describing or least not the name types.
But I know Ford sells a few types since Discount tires couple years back lost my lug key and they ordered me a new set from Ford, they had asked me what type I wanted and if I remember right there was 4 choices.

Heres another site,Now I dunno,Im liking that Mach 1 gripper knob.

The MGW gripper shifter ball is a good one. I bought that one about 3 years ago. Right now I'm using a UPR Mach 1 shifter ball that was discontinued about 5 years ago. It's blue with Mach 1 logo in the center.
