My brake line for the rear brakes blew the other day and I need to find a replacement for it. It is the hard line that connects in the engine bay, runs through the passenger side fenderwell, then runs the entire length of the car and ends at a block above the rear axle. I drove to mustangs unlimited and they didnt have it, and I don't see it on 50resto. Does anyone know where I can get this? Its for an 88 5.0.

Without making a new line yourself (using the old line as a pattern and double flairing the ends of the line) your best bet would be find one at a wrecking yard. I think that would be the quickest and cheapest way to do it.

try stainless steel brake line inc. I got mine from them and they cam in polished stainless steel. Perfect fit too for only 175 for the whole car!

I vote for the junkyard as well. I needed a new one for my F150, one that went from left front to right front, and I paid $3.00 for it at the junkyard I went to.

BTW -- be sure you have the correct flare nut wrenches for the lines, it will eliminate rounding off the nuts.
