Thanks guys. I wonder what the difference is between the reproduction ones and the actual Ford ones they sell? I just picked up a pair of sylvania cool blue bulbs from autozone. How do they compare to those silverstars? I like bulbs with a slight blueish tint. I've got 4500k HID's in my Audi and the color is perfect for me, a slight blueish tint.

Get your Silverstars from eBay, they're way cheaper. $15-25 for a new set of bulbs.

Hey Grn92LX,

Are you talking about the actual headlights or the headlight plates that help adjust the headlight side to side and tilt movement.

I know for a fact that the reproduction (actual headlights) compared to the OEM in fitment. Both both before.

Yeah the actual headlights. I guess theres a reason the reproductions are 90 bucks less.

I bought the repo ones and have no problems with fitment. when you replace them remember to put the center one in first and the rubber seal around it then the turn sig and sidemarkers.
the silverstars are more of a white light, not really any blue to them (or not that i see). I put mine in when i changed the lenses and it was a huge difference.

Just installed mine from 50resto last weekend. Look great and they were easy to do. They were only $100.00. I did not need the brackets or seals.
FYI don't do like me though, I did them the same day we installed new axles in the back at our shop on a lift. Well I found it much easier to do while in the air (lights). So to start we had the Stang backed in to do the axles cause it was easier. Well me like a dumb arse didn't think about the hood when I raised the car higher to make it easier for ME!!!!!!!!!!! UH there's a door up there!!!!!!!!! Doh.... Scratched the hell outta her

Anyway sorry the lights do look great lol worth the savings.

I personally had some fitment issues with the side markers with the reproduction pieces. I had to grind down some of the plastic dowels to make it acceptable.

I need to purchase a headlight kit here real soon and I am going OEM, no doubt.

I have had trouble with fitment/alignment of aftermarket light sets.

And get Silverstar bulbs...Cool Blue bulbs SUCK compared to Silverstars. I have had them in every car I have owned in the past 5 years and that is always the first upgrade I do. They cost a little more, but it is totally worth it, IMO.

Everyone has had great luck out of 50Resto lights besides me, mine turned yellow and now the driver side middle light is fogging up. Oh well, I'll just add that to the money wasted list when dealing with these cars. I e-mailed them about it and they didn't even reply, haha.
