where to buy saleen style wing?

Order now from them if you want to get it by Christmas. I don't know if anybody else had this problem with them but it took about 3 months to get my wing. They even told me they shipped it and nobody was there to receive it. I told them that UPS usually leaves a note on the door and try to deliver 3 times before they send it back. They couldn't provide me a tracking number either. Good luck.

Got mine from eBay...

Got a complete Saleen body kit from Haney Motorsports www.haneymotorsport.com

I was pretty pleased with the service and price. It shipped out very quickly. My only complaint was that the kit was shipped together in a flimsy box with no support. When it arrived the box was shredded and the bumpers were contorted. It took a lot of effort for the body shop to straighten them out so they could be put on the car. I think the packaging came from Saleen, not Haney.

From I saw and the comments my body shop made, these wings are very difficult to install properly. Its not like the stock wing where you can drill 4 holes and drop it in. The Saleen wing only has 2 attachment points. I believe my shop ended up scewing it in in several places and then filling the holes. I think they used a lot of glue too. What also makes it difficult is the fact that this wing contours around the edge of the trunk lid. It takes a lot of work to make it line up properly and look good. My only advice is take it to a competent body shop or it will look bad and probably start coming off after a while

he is 150% right. Saleen is not crop. Just that they aren't finisehd(ready to paint) like most of after market stuff is. And many shop is not used to prep something straight out of mold(which what Saleen stuff is for the most part). I mean most stuff they get are usualy primed, and ready to paint.
my bodyshop(whom i'll never use again) spent almost 2 weeks, and 6month later, it started to peel on bottome now  I now have to go and do it again! it takes alot to prep, and make it fit your car. But after spend too much money and too much time, they are surely nice looking wings...

Anyone know where I can get the brake light for the 281 wing? Sppedworx doesnt have a phone # listed.

On a similar note.... It took 16 hours of labor to make the Saleen wing right. My body guy told me he wouldnt do one ever again. Charged me $250 to prep and paint.

I got my wing from Speedworx. The wing shipped in like 3 days and the light came week later. The best part was not having to deal with Saleen directly. I called them to check on pricing and I have never dealt with such a rude customer service rep.

Do you have a contact # for Speedworx? I have looked on the website, but cant seem to find it. I need the light in the worst way.

No, I don't. Sorry I can't help you out on that. I had to deal with them through e-mail only. The will usually get back with you the same day, but there is no other contact info for them that I could ever find.

I have bought two wings directly from Saleen (an S281 and S351). Each time it showed up on my doorstep within a week. No problemos.

Regarding wing choice. After having my S281 stolen, I decided to replace it with an S351. Even though more expensive and no integrated brake lite, it is one sweet looking wing. After having both, I can say I like the S351 more. Also, the S351 comes MUCH closer to "ready for paint" than the the very rough initial condition of the S281.

Before you ask, a thread with with pics will posted in a few days.
