Where to find Pony Calipers??

I have seen these online a few times- though I am looking for them now to purchase. They are brake calipers that are red in color with a silver or white Mustang pony in the middle of it! Can anyone direct me to a website that might have them for sale? Thanks in advance for any help

That site sells both the GT/V6 calipers in red with the pony AND the larger Bullitt calipers. The thing is the calipers on this site are not painted OEM.

But the ones you are talking about are normally the 13" bullitt brake calipers. A few places sell them for $399 and they come with the calipers, 13" brembo rotors and pads and brake lines. I think these are what you are looking for. Sorry i don't know where they sell them though but i'm sure somebody will

The calipers I usually see on ebay showing the pony are simply decals placed on standard gt calipers which have been painted red. It's pretty easy to do.

Try GEF Racing (click here), they have the Bullitt calipers. The fronts are red with the white running pony and the rears are red with no pony.

I believe you are referring to the Bullitt calipers. They are 13" brembos, painted red. The pony is machined into the caliper and appears white.

www.GEFracing.com has them for $459.00 a pair for the caliper rotor set.

It is a lot to spend just for a particular look, but I would think it should be an upgrade from stock brakes.

There are three flavors of the exact same caliper:
1) Bullitt, as described above
2) Cobra, which has black calipers with "Cobra" in silver
3) Anniversary Cobra, which has red calipers with "Cobra" in white

All of the above are the same exact caliper (except for the paint job) and came from Ford with the same exact rotor (13" vented solid Brembo). The typical price for the entire upgrade is about $400 or so (there are often some good deals on eBay, too). This is a significant upgrade for the price. The basic gotchas I have seen in doing the Cobra upgrade are:
a) You need at least 17" rims (and I am not sure all 17's will work, but I know Bullitt rims are fine).
b) The doughnut spare tire will no longer fit.
c) The GT hoses have a different fitting into the caliper than the Cobra calipers, requiring Cobra hoses instead of re-using stock GT hoses.
d) I have heard that upgrading the OEM solid Brembo rotor to slotted and/or cross-drilled can result in excessive pad wear and is not required unless car will see serious auto-x time (although it does look cool).

www.buyfordmotorsport.com sells loaded bullit/cobra calipers for $109 each
$10 to ship.

I bought 4 matching cross drilled/slotted zinc washed rotors off E-Bay(cobra front, GT rear) for $229

5000 miles later.....No Problems...... Stops Great

The entire Bullitt fronts kit is $400 at mustangparts, including stock Cobra hoses.

The Cobra hoses are actually much thicker than the stock GT ones which I was just looking at a couple of nights ago. I was shocked at the difference.
