does anyone have a part number for the v8 t5 fork's dust boot? Can I get one from autozone, advace auto, oreilleys, carquest? They can't seem to find the listing in their computer, and rockauto.com doesnt list one either. Thanks for your help

Never seen a dust boot under there. Are you talking about the metal cover?

I have a brand new one not in use, but it's in another state. If you can wait a while for it I could hook you up.

Last one I bought, I scored it from 50resto.com. I didn't really NEED one, per se, as more Foxes seem to be running around without them than those with, but I just wanted it there because I was being anal about things missing on the car. It's kind of a "pretty" for the most part, although it will help keep some junk from getting into your bellhousing. I also noticed the starter was just a hair quieter when cranking as a result of the sound having one less orifice from which to escape.

hmm its just a cover. If it costs $46 from ford directly, I might just go driving without one. I would really like to get one, but 5.0s in junkyards are a bit hard to come by, and ford pricing is definitely a bit harsh for a new one.
