Stangnet Partshopper doesn't carry any Bassani products. Where is the best place to get it? I want to order a Bassani X w/cats and a Bassani Catback. And does anyone know about how much it's gonna cost around for both items?

i live in indianapolis, IN and i am about to get a bassani x-pipe and bassani cat back system for my 00 gt and they said it would cost $1551 after parts/labor/tax. im not sure if thats pricey and if other people have got better deals but thats what a shop in indy told me not too long ago. labor is only 125 too which doesnt seem too bad.

I never heard of Street comp. Where is this? Have a website for it?

Heres a soundclip of a '97 Cobra with Bassani Street Comp and a catted X-pipe. I just love the gurgly raw p!ssed off sound it has at partial throttle, and the fact that it SCREAMS at full throttle. I don't want to sound gay, but it kinda sounds like a large beast growling at partial throttle, and one roaring at WOT. Having an offroad X, I know it will sound even edgier if I got one, which would be sweet. A friend told me that the Bassani Street comp would be even louder than my welded in flows/stock tailpipe, with a different kind of aggressive tone. Anyways, heres the sound clip: 97 Cobra w/Bassani Street Comp Catback and Catted X-pipe

My friend, who has owned 3 Cobras (95, 98, 01) and has had many different kinds of exhaust systems and countless dynos for each, swears by his bassani. He had an H-pipe/Flow American Thunder catback on his '01, and picked up 6rwhp just from the bassani catback alone over his flowmaster catback. He promised me that I would pick up at least 1mph and drop .2 in the quarter mile with the street comp over my stock catback/weld-in flows. In my opinion all other straight through catbacks such as the Bassani Quiet Thunder, Borlas, Magnaflows, all sound way too muted and tame. They just dont have that edgy, raw, hollow roar that I want in an exhaust system..

I just got a Bassani o/r x-pipe put on today. With the Bassani street comp cat back it is loud as h***. It has a kind of edgy sound to it. It will take some getting used to but I love the sound. Put the cats on if you don't want it REALLY loud. I am saving the cats for the emissions nazis. If I can get a sound clip of my car soon I will post it. I love bassani. Next are the Bassani mid length headers.

I recieved my old Bassani setup from Houston Performance. I had the o/r x-pipe with the street comp catback. It was just too loud and rattle sounding for me. I should have gotten the one with cats to help with the volume.
