Im having a hard time finding some poly rear swaybar endlinks for my 70 Mach 1. It's a stock bar and no one seems to carry them in poly Just rubber. Can anyone help me out? How long are they suppose to be anyways? The end links I mean. Thanks
I just got my rear end redone in one of those shops and they had all kinds of that kind of stuff hanging on the walls. I even saw enough parts for a guy to fab his own adj strut arms or shock tower braces with endlinks.......
measure an off the shelf set that is made for your car...buy a poly set, match up a 5/16 bolt to the off the shelf measurement, a couple pieces of 3/8 tubing cut to fit later, youve got poly end links.
Kragen. com has two brands, McQuay-Norris and Energy suspension. The bolts on my Mach 1 are originals and measure 9.75" long, 3/8" diameter, with a 5" long center tube. The bolts have 1.25" of thread on the ends. I used the Energy Suspension sets for the front and rear and am very happy with them.
