Where do you guys mount your line lock switch?? I have a 69 Mach 1, stock automatic shifter, no console (although I do have a humphugger). Where should I mount my line lock switch??

I could mount it on the console but then it doesn't become removable anymore. Any suggestions???

I just had a SLP line lock installed on my 03 cobra. They put a switch down next to my 12v power outlet by the shifter. The switch just activates the actual line lock control. The actual control is the "flash to pass" switch (pulling the turn signal lever towards you holds the breaks) when the switch by the 12v power outlet is turned off, the "flash to pass" works like it's supposed to.

Another option I was toying around with is to replace just the handle of my (stock) setup with something from Hurst or B&M that has a button. Something like this:

Will this work?? Would anybody know what size thread the stock handle uses?? Or do I need to get my butt over to the shop and check it for myself??

That's another good idea. I had mine done the way I did because I didn't want the inside of my car looking like a race car. Trying to keep it as stock looking as possible.
