where to set fuel press

I have a 5.0 stang with edle heads- cobra intake -headers- and stock cam, larger mass air and t-b, it also has 19lb-inj,s with a 255 intank pump-- what should i set my fuel press at???????/

try 35 psi, for improved power someone else might be able to help

35 PSI would be way too lean for that set up, especially with 19lb injectors- you need 24's. I would start at 38-40. Unfortunately, a wideband would be the only way to know for sure. Alot of it depends on the motor. You will have to experiment a bit.

remove the vacuum line from your adjustable fuel pressure regulator and set it at 40 psi and reinstall the vacuum line and you should be ok....

Sorry to hijack, but do you plug or pinch up the vacumm line that goes to the fuel pressure regulator when you adjust the fuel pressure on the regulator?

when i adjust i remove the vacuum line at the adj. fuel pressure regulator and plug the vacuum line with my finger or a small screw and adjust to 38-40 and then reinsert vacuum line....done.its easy for me because i have a fuel pressure guage permanetly mounted under my hood see pic...

start at 45 and work backwards with the SOTP meter and a stop watch..see where car performs best from 30-50 and go from there.

Seat of the pants meter. When you play with the fuel pressure also keep an eye on the olor of your spark plugs.
