Looks like I have worked out the little bugs in the 95 now and I am looking at where to start doing simple bolt ons. I come from the modular world and have a general idear of what is what, but I also know to ask/look before I spend money. What brands should I stay away from and what ones should I spend the extra few bucks for better quality. Also what are the logical steps to take in progression for the car? As far as free mods. Is there a write up for the egr and smog removal? I do great with pics. The car already has 4:10s, shifter, and exhaust. What moves would you make next?

351 based stroker with twin turbos. :D

If you're not ready for that, then I guess you can still do headers, off road H/X pipe, underdrive pullies, CAI.

If you still want more then go with a HCI with a bigger MAF and throttle body.

I would look into a K&N air filter, w/ or w/o a CAI. A throttle body/EGR upgrade will help the pony breath easier. A better coil (Accel or MSD are my choices) will help as well.. A strut tower brace is nice addition to help stiffen the car.
There's many things you can do with the 5.0, these are only a few ideas to help get ya going.

They already come with a strut tower brace and a coil isnt gonna gain much power on a stock motor. As For the mods, Mass Air (PMAS), Throttle body (I like BBK good stuff), Intake (edelbrock), Injectors, Heads (AFR), Cam (custom cam -best bet or the steeda #19 works well), Fuel Pump. That should get ya past the 300rwhp Mark. But once you get to that horsepower mark a coil might be a good idea ;)

I started with a Tweecer and 180 deg thermostat; changed fan turn-on/off speeds and timing. I tweeked my aode, and later tuned the eec to work with my new tko, and will use it to tune the 351w.

I also added an explorer intake and gt40P heads, which also made a noticable improvement in power.

I've done other things, but the above items were great bang for the buck improvements to me.

Seems my ignorance about my 95 Stang is showing. I bought mine used and had no idea the strut tower brace was stock.
As far as the coil .. well, I have to disagree. A good coil will help alot when added to a quality tune up (good quality cap/rotor/wires/plugs) No, the coil alone won't add any noticable power, but it will help a well built ignition perform more efficiently.
