Where is a good place for a short block?? I guess either a 331 or 306 would be good for my combo below. I am broke!!! but need to get this done. I will be using this as a pleasure car, not a full time race car. i drive it to work on nice days, and weekends, and occational trips to the dragway.. I don't plan on going much further than I already have in the future to the motor for mods. mostly all suspension and such next..

Try www.dssracing.com ....they have good reliable 306's and 331's...the base 306 shortblock is around 1500 i think. With you having a blower I would go ahead and put their main support system on there....

Check out Rick at http://www.rnhperformance.net/ I have been hearing too many bad things about the mass engine builders to feel comfortable buying one. Rick has a great reputation with his quality of work and priceing. If, more likely when my engine goes I will be talking to him.

Another vote for RNH performance (Rick 91gt) Great guy i had a defective part that was in no way his falt. He got me a new part asap. And he has been there time and time again after the sale any thing i need to know i call him and he treats me like iam a pro 5.0 client.

I had a DSS short block it did get to my house real fast but when you order a 331 pro bullitt and a 308 pro bullitt shows up it a real pain now i know this was a shipping problem with lables getting mixed up but it still sucked but i never had a problem with the motor once we got it all worked up but there is nothing like talking to the guy that put your motor together makes you feel better about beating on it.

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
