Which battery relocation kit?

Im looking to buy a track legal relocate kit to put into my car. This means its gonna be aluminum. The taylor kit is like 150 but Im finding other ones on ebay for cheaper. Whats the difference here?

Taylor kit

Moroso makes a blue one that is actually plastic and is still track legal. The box with hold downs and everything but wiring is like 100 bucks and then if you order their wiring kit it's like 95 more. This is the kit I have right now, but I'm not using their wiring kit.

Interesting....How is the quality of the moroso box?

You can also go with the summit brand for cheaper (NHRA & IHRA approved).

Summit SUM-G1231 - Summit® Premium Battery Boxes - summitracing.com

They sell a kit that includes the wire, but IMHO you would be better off picking up some 1/0 welding cable for the starter wire and some 4awg for the alternater and ground wire (full length ground from the rear quad shock to the engine block).

I agree and that summit box is the same thing as the blue moroso boxes... tons of people run them so they can't be bad

I like it. It's made of some pretty durable stuff. Pretty rugged. All the hardware for it is good stuff and it seals well.

The Moroso blue box is installed in mine as well. Seems pretty solid.

Wow I had no idea about that summit box. I think I would be dumb not to get it
