which brake upgrade

I guess their official called driver's ed or something. I go to midwest tracks. Mid-ohio, beaver run, and a few others. Go to http://www.pca.org/drivers_ed/ and find your local porche club, then go to one of the drivers education links. They allow anyone to go. usually around 300 for 2 days class and track time, including an in car instructor. You don't have to join the club. I highly recommend it.

they come pre-installed in the calipers. I bought mine there.

Are you absolutely sure that they come with the brake pads in that kit? I don't see them in the picture, and they aren't listed in the kit package description.

I need both front and rear brakes as mine are down to about 15% life.

I am thinking now about getting the black Cobra kit fpr $329 and then just getting a pair of PowerSlot rotors and Hawk HPS+ pads for the rear at the stock size.

Do you think this would be an efficient setup?

...also...what about this kit? Only difference I see is that the rear rotors aren't crossdrilled and it doesn't come with the steel braided brake lines.

i gotta question as I am also looking at a brake kit upgrade...

I have the chrome saleen 9inch front and 10inch back rims. They weigh a ton!!! Would the cobra kit everyone here is suggesting be enough of a upgrade to stop the car effectively? The little brakes on my car right now just don't have ANY grabbing power!!!

what year car to you have? if it is 99+ your little brakes are still a PBR calipure and should stop decent.

the cobra brake kit is mainly a rotor upgrade.

I have an '02. The PBR does not stop as good as what I would like. My old Mazda MX6 stops better than this car and in Vegas with traffic the way it is out here I need better breaking power IMO.
