Looking at my signature which cam would be good for my setup? I also have edelbrock peformer intake, 24lb injectors, GT40x heads . I don't want the cam to be to wild so I was looking at the E303 cam. It is a 5 spd. i want low end torque and its a street car.

Ford cams should be taken of the market. They are VERY outdated. If you get a wicked deal on a ford cam...go for it. If you are buying a NEW cam then I suggest you think out your choice and broaden your mind to other cams.

I know thats why you asked.

The TFS stage 1 is OK
A few Crower and Lunati cams that have good low end punch.
Crane...Comp cams...the list go's on and on.

You should take advantage of your combo.

I may get blasted for this but I am against Ford cams now. There is alot of better cams out there.

But its your money and its a free country.

The Lunati 51013 cam has a nice profile for low end grunt.

I have the Lunati 51014 and it makes good power. Alot nicer than my b303 I know that for sure.

Yeah I agree with Mike on the Ford cams..not all that great,I favor Lunati cams myself and will probably have a custom grind here in a few weeks with my Modified heads...Only reason im running a FMS cam now is because when me and my machinist called lunati with my engine specs with my heads as they are now the cam specs they recommended were almost totally identical to the B-cam so i just got the b-cam and saved about 120$ for other things.but i know when i get these heads done ill be needing something more around the .530 to .540 lift range with about the same duration.

I like my stage one, with my setup, first gear is nothing but wheelspin on the street, of course the 4.10's might have something to do with that.

LOL no joke i hear ya there this motor with these little heads produce so crazy torque....and with these 3.73 and fire"Stone" radials i got on forget about 1st and 2nd gears and hope 3rd finally grabs....when i first got this motor in my car,i raced a 64 Nova this kid had with a 350 he ran consistent mid 13's@ the track...caught him on the street and we raced out on old 66
we had a buddy flag us off and i was spinnin bad in 1st so i figured id stay in it and go ahead and grab second and shed catch......ahh nope she had other plans grabbed second and the next thing i know my headlight are pointing right in ol boys rear side windows....so i grab 3rd finally get her to straighten out and still chased the kid down and put a car and half on him...its about the funniest thing ive ever heard when he tells the story.he said all he saw was some headlights blinding him then a stang go screamin by.

i have an ecam, it makes like no power below three grand, wich isnt that bad, it sounds like a stock 5.0 with an exhaust but once you hit that three grand mark its like a 2 stroke, power on!!!
