Which cat-back should I get?

I'm going to buy a cat back for my '94 convertable. I was currious to see what people on here have and how they like it? Are there any systems which I should consider which aren't main stream? Not that I don't like flowmasters, but every one has them and I don't want to overlook anything. Also, I'm a broke college student so I'd like something under $400 or so.

Obviously flowmaster 2 chambers.

Tri-ax over pro 5.0

you should stick with a 60mm TB for as long as possible

X pipe over prochamber

miller light over bud light

man, do a forum search. There has got be at least 50 threads with this same question.

And if you have 4 cars, including a 66 fastback and a 63 fairlane, you are not a broke college student.

well! that should clear it up for you!

I think every popular system was mentioned!
There's a web site that lets you hear for
yourself the different brands. Can't remember the site name...just Google
search exhaust sounds or the like.

For me, a more subdued rumble is cooler.

Choose between Magna-Flow, Bassini or
Dyna-Max.

Flowmasters have a resonance that drives me nuts in my '66, but I like it
when I open it up.

Also, either Dyno-max or Magna-Flow
is OEM on Mustangs. Can't remember which one.

Mac cat-back.

Had Flowmaster 40's, MagnaFlows, Bassani's, Dyno Max and the MAC's are the best sounding ones IMO so far.
I like a loud obnoxious tone though, X-pipes and H-pipes make a huge difference in sound also. The H-pipe is louder and the X is raspy sounding.
