Which Catted H-pipe to buy?

Its not the mid pipe that is making it raspy, its the cat-back.

Change that instead.

But MRT H pipes are some of the best sounding, but they are pricey.

Aren't the loudmouth mufflers pretty much strait through, how could that make it raspy? From what I can find on this site everyone says it's the X pipe. But come to think of it, it wasn't raspy with the flows.....but then again could the chambered flows have been deadening the rasp of the X-pipe?

Just a question for you Dr. Black. Is there any reason you're prefering cat-ed? like emission tests? because the off road H with packs or borlas sounds great. i mean, unless you got emissions to screw with id go O/R. Because the Loudmouth (IMO) is basically just straight through exhaust, why not just cut your mufflers off and put pipe there instead? itd sound a lot cleaner with the mufflers.and id vote borla weld ins or packs. the borlas are 100 a piece and the packs are 60 a piece. i have the packs and couldnt be happier...well...maybe shorties...those would make me happier. but besides that...not much.
