I wanted new intake, and a friend recommended that i get the mach 1 cold air intake b/c of my hood sccop. I wasn't sure b/c i haven't seen many ppl with those, and a lot of ppl on here have a different kind. Which cold air intake is the best for hp gains and overall performance?

mach 1 intake is not a good idea.. unless you want too spend big bucks.. our hood scoops are not real scoops and the amount too make them work is not worth the power gains if any.. i would get a plastic cold air intake.. or just keep the stock setup with a K+N thats what i did for now.

I wouldn't expect to get any huge or even SOTP noticeable gains in HP or Torque from a CAI. With a FIPK, you'll gain a little, but probably not enough to justify the $200 something it costs. Shrug.. your choice though.

Get MRT's Intake for the Mach. I have it on my GT and my friend has it on his mach. It is so tight looking and i would tell anyone to get it....we both felt a little improvment

I'd try the DeMolet full length CAI if I were you. I just installed mine tonight I really like it already. It makes the car sound a little meaner, especially at higher rpms. As far as a power increase, it feels like it pulls a little harder at higher rpms and it definitely feels smoother across the powerband. Check out stangpro.com. I got mine for 170 shipped. Good luck.
