For a 92 5.0.

I'm looking to upgrade the dist. from stock, and am wondering what to look for.

Mods are intake, A-trim, 75mm TB, 255 pump, 30# injectors, adj. FPR, 75mm MAF. I plan on Edelbrock 60cc heads soon as well.

Currently my ignition system is stock except for wires & coil.

go mallory, i have heard a lot about them and all was good but i personally don't think you will see any advantages in power, only looks.

i am pretty sure that MSD makes a pro billet distributor that bolts on and works with the stock harness it is $269 in the mustangs unlimited catalog and accel makes one that also uses the stock harness

Well other then buying a different dist. for looks or the stock one being bad.. If the stock one is operating fine, its really more then enough.. I think there rated up to like 13,000 rpm (thats what i was told) but i'm not telling you shouldn't buy a new dist. just looking out thats all..

I won't buy one if I don't have to. I figured it'd be a good idea being blown and all, and if I add heads that it would be needed.

Hell, I'd much rather NOT spend $260 on a dist. And yea, it is doing fine as is now.
