I was wondering, how many RPMs are you guys turning with 3.55,3.73,4.10,and you guys with 4.30s @ 65MPH in 5th gear, that will be the deciding factor when I buy gears.

A guy on here who has a supercharged auto GT that will run mid 10's in the 1/4 mile. He runs 4.10 gears with his supercharger and a 28in. tall slick on the rear. I recommend a taller tire because it allows for more contact patch to the surface and will help to reduce wheel spin. If you dont have any problems hooking now or running out of gear with your power adder, then stick to the size your using.
The shop that does mine charges me $275 to do the swap, but that includes the fluids and stuff.
I would think that would be the most you should pay though. Some shops that are more like just regular mechanics than speed shops will do it for a lot less. I think I have heard quotes as low as $150 for the install.
