Which Hood????

Sounds pretty easy. Remove black plastic insert, cut hole in hood. However, I think that aerodynamic forces would rip it off like an old bandaid as soon as you hit 20mph

that still wouldn't make it functional, just open unless somebody has a way to seal the scoop to the air intake it wouldn't do anything but blow air across the top of the engine...and that's not terribly useful...

the "function" of the Mustang's scoop is to make the car look better, just like wheels that are bigger than they need to be to clear the brake rotors


but I'd say if the OP HAS TO change hoods, get a 95 Cobra R style one

Im just not that big of a fan of the stock hood. Once I install the bullitt side scoops, the hood will stick out more because everything else will be sleek and flush. BUT...I have never thought about putting a mach 1 hood and scoop on it.

I like the 95 cobra R hoods also, I have been really debating on one of those also. I hate decisions!
