hi Guys-

The time has been coming to upgrade my intake, The COBRA set up seems to be bottle necking up my car. So i'll be in the market for an intake soon, Just wanted to get some opinions and the 411...

My set up is 91 5.0L.....
AFR165's 58cc's
custom nitrous grind 216 int/216 exhaust .525 lift (no nitrous)
FMS 1.6 rockers
BBK 1 5/8 shorties
2 1/2 Hedmann off-road H-pipe
Cobra upper & lower mani's
19lbers
70MM accufab TB
76MM C&L power pipe
76MM C&L mass air
MAC CAI/K&N with march ram air
March power & amp series pullies
3000 edge stall 9.5 inch converter
Trans-Go shift kit
B&M T-handle shifter
4.10's FMS gears
40 series american thunder flows
Edelbrock hi-flow water pump
Fluidyne aluminum rad
Mark VIII Electric fan

and a whole bunch of other little bull**** mod's.... Im not planning on any supercharger, nor nitrous-So im looking to keep it the same, just allow more air into the engine, What Intake should i go with????
keep in mind-I was thinking about Trickflow track heat or eddy RPM2-but im totally unsire and dont wanna make amistake, ya know. Any and all opinions, suggestions and ideas are welcome.

Many Thanks-guys!
Anthony

Your probably pushing the 19s pretty hard - try some 24#

The Cobra lower is holding you down, porting it would be the equal or better of any intake mentioned.

I like your combo........

Same here i have a cobra upper and lower ported and are running 24#'s gt40p's ported polished, and so on....... I layed down 310H.P and 338T.Q at the wheels, so i dont think it's so much the intakes as it is the injectors? But i wouldnt get new intakes go and get that one p/p. BTW if you go and get a street heat trickflow then i have a 3/8 spacer i will sell you for it? peace

Go track heat with that combo, the spacer will still fit for both.

My intakes were benched flow and they didnt flow low enough under the trick flows to spend that kind of money for a trick flow. No the spacers are diffrent.Plus i got a 3/8 spacer for the cobra one also! peace

hey john-
thanks for replying..... So your saying-You have trickflow heads and the Trckflow Trackheat didnt flow enough for that combo?
i thought you had a ported cobra upper and lower and are running GT40P's... Which do you have? And you would lean towards porting the cobra lower?

hit me back, thanks dude-Ant
